Who are the PFA and what do they do?
The PFA is a registered charity run voluntarily by parents and friends of the school. All money raised and any donations received are used to fund resources, equipment and provide exciting events that are specific to the needs of the pupils attending Crownbridge School. This further enriches the children’s school experience by creating the enabling environments and experiences that supports them make progress in many aspects of their school life.

Summer BBQ
School Show Raffle
Summer Fete
Christmas Fete
Race nights
Bingo nights
Film nights
Christmas Panto trip to Cardiff
PFA meetings happen termly and there’s generally 1 fundraising activity each term. PFA members take on a range jobs and commitments can look different for each member. Some may join all meetings and events, where some may only be able to commit to just helping at some events or fundraising. The PFA are also active in applying for grants, as well as distributing and collecting the charity money boxes from local businesses.
