Croeso, Fy enw i yw Mrs Bush.

Welcome to our School.

I joined the Crownbridge School community in 2003. I have worked in special schools for almost forty years as a class teacher, head of department and senior leader based in London and Birmingham before I returned to Wales where I grew up in Blaenau Gwent. I started my career in education by training as a nursery nurse at Pontypool College and later as a teacher of special education at Caerleon.

I moved back to bring my daughter up in Wales and enable to her to learn the Welsh language by attending a Welsh medium school.

I have enjoyed every minute of my time as Head Teacher at Crownbridge School since taking up my post.

It is not difficult to be encouraged and uplifted by the pupils as they arrive every day with smiles on their faces. They are always so enthusiastic to participate in lessons.

As we are a 3-19 year school pupils grow and mature over their time here. It is a great pleasure and privilege to see them each blossom in their own individual ways.

We pride ourselves on considering all pupils as unique individuals, and that’s why our curriculum offer has a strong focus in what's important to them and their families

Staff work very closely with parents, a wide range of partners in education, health, social care and other services to offer learning experiences which support pupils to develop into confident members of their local community and to progress their interests and talents.

We welcome visitors to school. If you get the opportunity to come along you will be very welcome.
